Greetings and welcome to Wildlife Limited!
Wildlife Limited provides a unique animal adventure. We have been providing animal rides and entertainment since 1989. Our family has been in the animal entertainment business for over 50 years. Our fully insured Camel and Pony rides are a family treat at special events throughout the United States of America.
Wildlife Limited regularly provides attractions at public zoos, animal parks, tradeshows and fairs. Our animals regularly can be seen working with the likes of industry spokesperson and celebrity Jack Hannah. Additionally we service attractions in Arizona, Ohio, Illinois and Wisconsin.
Since 2009 we have been an annual staple at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in Houston, Texas. Tradeshows such as these give us the opportunity to interface with other professional animal handlers, industry leaders and families of all ages.
We pride ourselves on providing our clients with courteous and accommodating service allowing you to rest easy knowing that your ride will be on time, clean and entertaining. We currently have over 35 camels and over 40 ponies. There is no event too large or small for us to accommodate.
In addition to camel and pony rides we offer Petting Zoos and Pig Racing. Our Petting Zoo includes baby camels, alpaca, llama, Painted Desert Sheep, Pygmy Goats, mini cattle and tortoises. Our Pig Racing presents 4 twenty-minute shows per day with 4 races per show. The pig races are set to music and include humorous banter, which is centered on pop culture and current events.
Wildlife Limited also provides animals for a wide variety of non-riding events. These events include: parades, commercial and multimedia productions, religious and nativity presentations.

Who We Are
The Schoebel Family acquired the animal ride business in 1989. Led by owner operator Matt Schoebel a third generation professional animal handler, Wildlife Limited has been providing family fun and rides for well over 20 years. With almost 40 years in the animal handling business, Matt not only handles animal rides but also is well versed in the handling of all animals, domestic and exotic.
With a lifetime of working with animals in entertainment, one might think that the day to day becomes tedious and repetitive. Operating Wildlife Limited actually provides the inverse of that assumption. Watching the eyes of a child light up with wonder and excitement as they approach an animal is part of the energy that fuels our daily routine.

Booking Wildlife Limited
Wildlife Limited prides itself on flexibility and our experience accommodating client requests. We have "suggested" space sizes for our rides. If we need to reduce or enlarge that footprint we most certainly can present deviations for our suggested specifications.
While grass is the preferred surface for our attractions, all of our animal rides and exhibits are available for indoor and outdoor configurations.
We request that all event coordinators supply water, electrical access and a refuse container for animal sanitation.
We have tents available if an outdoor location doesn’t have shade available when the animals and patrons are resting and waiting to ride.
Camel Rides
The size of the space that we suggest for our Camel Rides is 30x60 feet.
Pony Rides
The size of the space that we suggest for our Pony Rides is 40x40 feet. The standard pony ride has 8 ponies that working at one time and comes in two different configurations, “Carousel” or “Hand Led”.
In the Carousel configuration the ponies are tethered to a central pole and walk in a circle. The pony ride is covered by a tent in the Carousel configuration and is ideal for operation in most weather conditions.
Pig Races
The size of the space that we suggest for our Pig Racing is 40x100 feet. Our Pig Racing presents 4 twenty-minute shows per day with 4 races per show. The pig races are set to music and include humorous banter, which is centered on pop culture and current events.
Petting Zoo
The size of the space that we suggest for our Petting Zoo is 40x40 feet. Our Petting Zoo includes baby camels, alpaca, llama, Painted Desert Sheep, Pygmy Goats, mini cattle and tortoises.

While at events we field a variety of questions about camels and animals in general. We enjoy these questions and encourage people to ask them. With three generations and over 50 years of our family in the business, we have a wealth of experience that we love to share.
That said, here are a few of the questions that we’re regularly asked at events:
Q. How long do camels live?
A. Some camels can live to be up to thirty years old while other camels live to be twenty years old. Our oldest camel lived to be well older than thirty. We find that the average age of a camel is about twenty-five years.
Q. What do your camels eat?
A. When we’re at home on the farm our camels have a pasture to graze in. They typically eat simple grains and plants. When we’re out on the road they eat a mixture of hay, alfalfa and grains. We also have a sweet pea mix that they like.
Q. How much do camels weigh?
A. A small camel weighs twelve hundred to thirteen hundred pounds. Our larger camels can weigh up to twenty-three hundred pounds.
Q. How long can a camel give rides during a day?
A. It depends on the camel and knowing the camel to see when they are tired. We exercise our camels regularly. We have to keep them in good condition for riding. They are no different than humans when it comes to their need to be fit and in-shape for working.
Once we see that a camel needs a rest we replace them and we always have a teammate waiting in the wings.
Q. How many camels do you have?
A. We have well over 30 camels and about 40 ponies.

A. “What day is it?” Even if it isn’t Wednesday people still ask that when they see the camels. That Geico advertising campaign did wonders for the camel business!
